Piroshki's are Russian pastries, similar to meat pie, empanadas, or even pate chaud. We got smoked salmon pate filling which was extra creamy. I was afraid it'll be fishy but it wasn't. It was in a shape of a fish! The dough was more of like a hot pocket texture. Also got the cheese and beef which was actually sweet. This was round. The dough on this was more of like cheese bread. Both really flavorful and different. The entrance is through the main side walk and you exit through the hallway. It's a tiny place but everything is displayed in the glass for you to choose. There were no lines when we went but you could see the ropes outside the exit along the wall for when there would be a crowd. No tables. We sat on the ledge across the way and looked out towards the water.

Truly the best bakery in Seattle! While the line was so quite busy on a Saturday morning, it went by quickly and was worth the wait. The vegan potato and mushroom was the best and I had to get it twice because it's super flakey and savory. The staff are nice too and the bakery smelled delicious with freshly baked and warm goods.

It's iconic, it's longstanding, and it's only my second time ever being here as a Seattle native... I took friends from LA to try the pastries here. Piroshky Piroshky is an Eastern European bakery with a mix of both sweet and savory stuff, located just out on the streets of Pike Place. Don't even bother with parking as it's downtown Seattle; get here by bus or parking somewhere farther off. The inside is essentially a very small place with no seating; you line up outside and order the pastries you want. Said pastries are conveniently shown for you on displays outside and inside. Most of the pastries are already made and the refreshing smell of bread pretty much fills the surrounding area. Nothing to say about service since it's a quick grab-and-go situation here. I got the beef & cheese (ground beef and cheddar) and the Moscow roll (cream of wheat and Bavarian cream), and both were great in their own ways. The beef and cheese was a nice kind of savory; the two blended very well with the pastry, which wasn't soggy at all and was the best part. The Moscow roll was a little too much on the sweetness, and I needed some water afterwards. I'd come here again for their other pastries since I haven't tried everything on their menu yet!

It's gotta be like 20 years since I last came here to get a Piroshky........... If you like Piroshkys, I would highly recommend you check out - Piroshky Piroshky in Seattle. Located at the Pike Place Market, you can find this little shop on the top side of the marketplace just a few doors down from the original Starbucks coffee shop. Piroshky Piroshky has a pretty big selection of piroshky (see my menu pic), as they sell savory, veggie, & sweet piroshkys. The day I came here with my friend - Cory Y., I ended up buying three types of piroshkys - 1. Cheddar Garlic Roll 2. Chicken Curry Rice 3. Uli's Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage What can I say about the grub??? My friend ended up with Uli's Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage, and he said it was delicious! My friend Cory loved the simple spices in the sausage, and texure of the roll. As for me, I ordered the Chicken Curry Rice, and a Cheddar Garlic Roll (to share). I must say the Chicken Curry Rice was just okay for me, although the filling was more than generous, I wasn't a big fan of the filling. As for the Cheddar Garlic Roll...........Day'um! It was supah ono!!! Nice garlicky taste and the cheddar cheese certainly complimented the roll nicely! Darn! I should have bought two of the Cheddar Garlic Rolls, that way I no need share! Buwahahahahaha! I'm not to familiar of places that make piroshkys, but believe it or not, I can actually buy a piroshky on Oahu. Although I can buy it in da 808, it's definately not the same, or as good quality as the one I've tasted in Seattle. If you're ever visiting the Pike Place Market, make sure you stop by and look for "Piroshky Piroshky" to get your piroshky fix!

This Russian bakery will be top on my list of places to revisit to if I come back to Seattle... I loved their pastries and overall vibe. I got their viral smoked-salmon pate bread shaped like a fish, and I enjoyed it a lot, it reminded me of a Smoked Salmon Bagel with a unique twist. I also tried their apple-cranberry roll, which was tasty as well. The line can get long, but the service was very fast regardless and friendly as well. Definitely a top place in Pike Place market for me.

I finally got to try this place out. There wasn't a huge line when I went but it didn't get busy once I placed my order. It's another grab-and-go spot but they do have benches outside to enjoy your piroshky. The workers were nice and quick. What we got: - Bacon, Hash Brown, Egg & Cheese Piroshky ($8): My cousin got this and she loved it! She said this would be something she would get after her night shift if this was in our area. I wish I got to try it since it did look yummy. - Beef & Cheese Piroshky ($8): Loved this! It was packed with beef and cheese. It was a great snack to munch on after all the walking around. - Chocolate Hazelnut Cream Roll ($6): This was also a great treat to have. The chocolate hazelnut cream was yummy and the bread was soft.
